The Three Axes

Once upon a time, There was a man lived in a small village near a mountain. He had an axe and used it to cut firewood in the forest.

He went to the forest everyday to cut firewood.

Then he would sell bundles of firewood in a nearby town for living.

One day, while the man was cutting a wood and , the axe slip from his hand and dropped into the river.

As they had only one axe and he could no longer cut firewood to sell. He felt very sad and sit near the river bent and weeping .

That time River guardian (genie) heard the man weeping and he ask to the man “What is the matter, why are you crying?” the genie asked to him. He said “I lost my axe and now I don't have any more food to eat,” .

Genie told him “I will find your axe in the river.” Genie went into the river to look for the axe.

Soon, genie brought a golden axe from the river and asked him “This is your axe?” The man reply “No, this is not my axe.”

Genie then brought a silver axe from the river and ask him “This is your axe?” The man reply “No, no, that is not my axe!”

Genie finally brought the axe it was slip from man. The man was very happy to find his own axe and said this is the one I lost it. Genie said to man “You are very honest man. I will give you all three axes.” The man was very happy and taking three axe to his home.

One of the man friend heard about this and he go to the river and do same like his friend. Again genie is appear from the river and ask the man why are u so sad and crying. The man answer same like his friend. Then genie go the the river and find the axe and then genie show gold axe "This is your axe ?" The man reply " Yes, Of course this is the one I lost.
